Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last 10 years, you probably have heard of one of the most popular weight-loss systems in the world. The Jenny Craig weight loss program has been extensively reviewed and discussed on television and in books across America, but I did not believe the results and the ease in which one could lose weight until I reviewed it 3 weeks ago.
If you haven’t heard of the Jenny Craig weight loss program, then you’re in for a treat! The beauty of Jenny Craig is the ability to take foods that you would normally eat in a healthy, whole-hearted meal, and count them so that you are on your way to losing weight. You might be asking, how am I going to lose weight if I’m eating good meals? Well the key to eating healthy is imbibing the nutrients in our food and digesting them efficiently. This means that all the major amino acids (that builds proteins) as well as the necessary fatty acids that normally enter your body are now increased, and this will only help you digest faster. What does this do for your weight loss? It means you can eat just as much and lose much more weight!
Jenny Craig Weight Loss Program
There is the “Tune Up” trial package that Jenny Craig Weight Loss offers, but there were 2 more to choose from; “OnTrack” and “Rewards.” With the first program there is a 2 month membership that allows you to have direct meetings with weightless professionals who are in the program as well as the famous menu that you receive with the program. The weight-loss menu comes with information that gives you the skinny on why you’re eating what you’re eating, tips for losing weights and some well needed motivation to eep you going.
The other two programs boast longer (half year) memberships with 24/7 support and discounts on some really nice meals! Even if you were to buy and prepare these meals at home you would not have access to the eclectic variety of delicacies that one can find in the “Rewards” membership with Jenny Craig.
The key to this diet is that you’re eating the right foods, in the right times of the day. This will automatically increase your metabolism towards what your “set point” should be. Then they take the method of reducing the “DCI” or what they call your Daily Caloric Intake by following all the foods that are needed from the FDA Food Pyramid. This means that you are getting most of your meals primarily from carbohydrates, and the rest from essential fats and proteins.
The best part of the whole system is the comfort and reliability of coming home to eating the pre-packaged meals which allows for a zesty dinner experience unparalleled to any supermarket meal!
